Our client, a rapidly growing real estate company, is looking hire an Accounts Payable and Admin clerk to join their team. This role is a result of the company growing and needing additional help. In this role the successful Accounts Payable and Admin Clerk will be primarily responsible for the following;

  • Download/upload invoices electronically. Match POs to invoices and enter invoices into the system. Process payments of invoices
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
  • Assist senior accounting personnel with any tasks conducted within the accounting department
  • Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls accordingly or handle directly from the reception desk, as necessary
  • Providing full administrative support, including, but not limited to preparing various correspondence, documents, opening files, printing, filing, and photocopying

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

  • 1+ year experience in Accounts Payable. 
  • 1+ year experience in Administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical aptitude.  Experience in QuickBooks and Newstar is a nice to have
