The Organization Design Manager will lead the development and delivery of the Organization Design workstream, with the following critical objectives:

  • Lead the OD workstream and team to translate the target HR Operating Model in to a detailed organization design, partnering with the Global HR Leadership Team and their SMEs
  • Lead on the development and implementation of a comprehensive validation model that will assist in testing the organization designs in terms of cost, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Determine the governance and ways of working for the target operating model and organization design
  • Develop and deliver the implementation and transition plan (in partnership with the Divisional HR teams)
  • Leads the facilitation of Organization Design workshops, instilling confidence in Senior Leaders and HR Subject Matter experts
  • Partners with GHRLT members to determine their future design
  • Acts as a member of the HR Transformation Program leadership team – bringing thought leadership to the overall program vision, strategy and plan
  • Provides a deep level of understanding of organizational design
  • Drives delivery, in partnership with the HR function
  • Coaches & facilitates for better creativity & efficiency as well as a focus on the detail
  • Manages the operational agenda – has a grip of the detailed organization design and financial implications
  • Identifies & solves impediments/roadblocks
  • Improves transparency & radiating information
  • Works in an international, agile team environment
  • Provides specialized organization design expertise and utilizes this knowledge and expertise to help develop, build and deploy the future model for multiple global divisions or markets
  • Has a Global Mindset, ideally with experience at a global level or on large scale transformation programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources or the equivalent required
  • 7+ years of experience in a Human Capital or Strategy consulting role or HR business partner role for a large, global, matrixed organization
  • Significant change management, transformation, and organizational design experience required, preferably on global projects/initiatives
  • Exceptionally strong project manager who is able to design and take initiatives from abstract to concrete. Able to manage competing, high-priority demands; prioritizing workload, managing projects and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines
  • Excellent strategic thinker, with demonstrated experience translating strategic goals/concepts into action plans and implementing initiatives at an operational level
