The Program Manager manages complex strategic programs to achieve key business objective goals.
 
Responsibilities
  • Creates, monitors, and updates program plans for 2-3 workstreams (notably BPO, RPO)
  • Helps establish work plan and assists with the staffing for the program.
  • Establishes and maintains comprehensive program communication plan across teams and with the central PMO
  • Provides direction to workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Accountable for monitoring program scope, budget, and schedule, escalating as required
  • Manage and propose prioritization of workstream activities, ensuring that each workstream achieves its overall benefits.
  • Resolves resource escalations between workstreams with resource conflict and propose the best use of resources based on the priority of workstreams.
  • Financial acumen including monitoring and reporting on workstream progress based on the financials provided and financial forecast of progress.
  • Analyze the program financials to provide identify key messages and risks.
  • As problems arise, ability to deep dive into issue resolutions. Reviews and may provide input into the program scope definition.
  • Proactively works with workstreams teams to identify program level risks and issues.
  • Assists with the resolution of issues/risks and escalates when appropriate, involving program leaders and others to drive toward resolution and mitigation
  • Supports in coordinating activities of program or program teams to ensure progress is on schedule and within budget.
  • Effectively monitors, measures, and communicate program status to program leaders and others as required
Requirements/Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min 10 years of project management experience
  • Min 5 years of program management
  • Consulting experience in implementing global projects in the retail and/or healthcare industry.
  • Extensive Program Management skills, preferably in HR organization
  • Extensive experience running and developing project plans including the scope, project management approach, management plans, financial forecast and schedule.
  • Extensive experience in working with cross-functional teams and staff of all levels and external partners
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills. Solid problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • PMP certification preferred. Experience with multiple project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, etc
