Title: Surface Consumer Category Manager

Location: Mississauga/WFH 

 

IFG is on the search for a Surface Consumer Category Manager to support our client’s team. Our client is a global triliion dollar tech company, at the forefront of cutting edge technology.

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning and Device POR

  • Manage the Surface Sell-in business between our client and their retail partners (Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, Staples, etc) in Canada.
  • Supply chain for Surface devices, Surface accessories, S&OP, Demand Planning, Sales, and Channel Marketing.
  • Managing the forecast signal from Retail partners.
  • Creating and managing the forecast for demand planning.
  • Manage the Area Demand Plan (ADP) and the Consensus Demand Plan (CDP) process for Canada.

 

Supply and Inventory Management

  • Manage and Create all Global and Regional letters for Canada; Volume Incentive Program, Student Incentive Program, MAP letters, etc.   
  • Analyze market data and provide actionable insights to help drive strategy in product management and channel marketing.    
  • Work closely with North American team to drive alignment across CA and US around supply
  • Assess Channel and Disti inventory position to influence sell-thru activity

 

Operations & Launch Readiness

  • Strategize and optimize current processes
  • Deliver adhoc projects and initiatives to ensure we deliver on our commitments.
  • Lead internal meetings
  • Liaison with North American and Global Operations teams
  • Manage POR communications to local Canadian field team

 

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
