IFG is on the search for a Marketing Specialist: Junior IMC Manager Azure to support a client; a global IT giant.


Position Description

Marketing communication professional that will create and execute marketing campaigns focused on driving awareness and net new contacts. This individual will be able to work across a broad set of internal stakeholders, partners and customers.



Campaign Creation & Execution

• Work with Product Marketing Managers to determine key opportunities for marketing to help achieve business objectives

• Work within the Central Marketing Organization disciplines such as events, social and analytics to achieve maximum marketing impact on target audiences

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns within budgetary limits and in adherence to timelines

• Develop and present agency communication briefs in collaboration with key stakeholders based on business objectives outlined by audience and product business owners

• Prepare and present in-depth work back schedules which include timing, scope of work, and milestones

• Analyze and report on marketing ROI and business impact

• Campaign Budget Management such as forecasting, accruals and invoices

Stakeholder & Agency Management

• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met

• Report on campaign progress in a timely and accurate manner

• Develop strong relationships with agencies to ensure executional excellence and the achievement of campaign objectives

• Manage agency execution consistently and carefully to ensure campaign timelines, budget, and scope of work are met

Data analysis, optimization, reporting

• Analyze data and trends to apply in development of integrated marketing communication campaigns

• Analyze campaign KPIs throughout execution and optimize campaigns to achieve best ROI and business impact

• Report on campaign performance to internal stakeholders at a regular cadence

• Report quarterly on marketing impact across all activities

• Leverage subject matter experts internally to ensure that campaigns are executed per best practice


Strategic Messaging

• Create and maintain a consistent commercial message and voice throughout campaign initiatives

• Create content for websites, emails, blogs, and more within commercial voice guidelines


Requirements for a successful applicant:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in marketing communications
  • Experience with commercial marketing an asset
  • Experience in agency management
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong presentation writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple senior level stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Strong multi-project management skills essential
  • Ability to work within a complex, matrix-based organization with a clear line of sight to the needs of the business as a whole, and how integrated marketing efforts can support the business at large
  • Resourcefulness and a can-do attitude
