Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for an Assistant Property Manager in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a 12 month contract and is a great opportunity for those looking to expand their career in property management. 


As an Assistant Property Manager your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all tenant inquiries in the absence of the Property Manager
  • Provide recommendations and manage execution of preventative maintenance
  • Assist with implementation of improvements
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance standards are met
  • Collect and organize data to prepare annual budgets, reports and analyses
  • Perform administrative tasks such as documentation for damage and liability, process purchase requisitions, and tenant information packages

As an Assistant Property Manager, the skills required are:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a service-oriented role
  • University/ College degree 
  • Real Property Administrator (RPA) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) is required
  • Knowledge of HVAC 
  • Proficient with MS Office: Excel, Word. etc
  • Working knowledge of budgeting software YARDI
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Superior flexibility and ability to work in a team
