Salary Mid-Point: $70,000

Our client, a not-for-profit organization located in downtown Toronto, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their Management team. This is a full-time opportunity, with a great total compensation plan. 

As the Human Resources Manager, functions would include, but not be limited to:

  • Organizational development (policy development, HR strategy, training and development, SOP)
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Employee on-boarding/off-boarding
  • Employee engagement
  • HR Policy and Administration
  • Oversee payroll and benefits
  • Management development and operations

HR Managers to meet consideration will possess the following skills, education and attributes:

  • Bachelor Degree in related field
  • CHRP/CHRL would be a strong asset
  • 5+ years of senior level Human Resources experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of HR/employment legislature and policies
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching and advising management on standard HR operating procedures
  • Experience with HR policy updating and creation
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of interpersonal skills
  • Management experience (this role has direct reports)
