Forensic Advisory Senior Staff

Job Summary

Our client, a large public accounting, consulting and technology firm is looking for senior/staff that understands accounting fundamentals and will have the ability to judgmentally apply those skills to analyze financial information. The ideal candidate would be an active contributor on a forensic accounting and fraud investigation team and would be expected to:

  • Maintaining client relationships
  • Help managing engagement economics and risk
  • Assist with the growth of the practice.

Role Capabilities:

  • Applies results of data analysis processes with knowledge of financial and emerging management concepts, accounting and operational systems, other business data, performance measures and benchmarks to identify trends, risk/problem areas and opportunities to deliver high quality services or improve client business results
  • Performs engagements in compliance with firm and professional, legal, regulatory requirements
  • Actively seeks out new opportunities for the firm  to create business opportunities and identifies value added opportunities for existing clients
  • Secures new clients by bringing effective ideas and solutions targeted to their unique needs
  • Puts their team in a positions for successful engagement execution, quality results and client satisfaction
  • Works within project parameters, manages resources and processes while anticipating and resolving issues
  • Delivers on commitments to clients  while meeting profitability goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Possess or working towards:
    • CPA
    • CFE or
    • CFF
  • 2 - 5 years’ accounting experience (forensic accounting/fraud investigation preferred)
  • Strong analytical and organization skills; ability to work on multiple projects
  • Ability and desire to develop leadership skills
  • Desire to build networking skills and develop strong working relationships (both internally and externally) with business decision makers
  • Ability to travel and work additional hours when required
