Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the reporting of monthly operating results, performing in-depth financial analysis and to support the development of monthly forecasts and annual budget processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key new member of the FP&A team, reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A.   

This position requires a highly motivated, self-driven individual who can contribute to multiple projects and achieve deadlines concurrently.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages and related schedules for internal management reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast, annual business plan, and strategic plans
  • Provide analysis of business trends and variance of financial results and key performance indicators to be used in management reviews
  • Partner with finance leaders to gain understanding of underlying business trends and drivers of the business
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed
  • Planning/Budgeting – Revenue / Expense
  • Monthly Forecasting
  • Developing Business partnerships with other departments
  • Presentation preparation

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • 3 - 5  years related experience in financial analysis, forecasting and/or accounting
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Displays independent decision making  and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, Cognos a plus
