As a Project Manager, this position will be responsible for all the plans, schedules, assignments and deliverables to manage Business Transformation projects (including changes in systems, processes and organization) through all phases of the Project Life Cycle.
This position contains the following primary functions:
-Organizes and manages projects across multiple IT and Business functions, adhering to budgets, developing project plans, scheduling work assignments and monitoring progress;
-Manages the creation, approval of and adherence to detailed work plans across IT and Business groups and resources;
-Coordinates and interfaces with other internal and third party/vendor resources to manage dependencies and successful execution of the project;
-Defines and manages the execution of cross-functional, integrated testing plans -involving IT and Business teams;
-Manages contact with stakeholders and team members through the completion of the project;
-Manages changes to scope, schedule and project costs
-Provides status reports, tracking and managing risks and issues, and escalating where necessary;
-Provides analysis of project including Business Case, ROI and Post Project Review;
-Drives innovation, best practices, and the achievement of Strategic Objectives within the PMO;
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
-Bachelor's Degree required;
-PMP Certification strongly preferred;
-Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience.
-Experience with Implementation of COTS applications strongly preferred
-Primary focus is on key Finance characteristics including: Strategic Thinking, Executive Presence, Business Partnering & Business Acumen.
-Experience managing large cross functional business and IT teams and/or multiyear projects. Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies;
-Expertise with standard software products for project management including MS Office Suite, MS Project and Visio. Strong communication skills; verbal, written and presentation;
-Ability to interface effectively with multiple functions/organizations to identify and negotiate project required resources;
-Strong team leadership and ability to provide day-to-day task direction to team members;
-Ability to conduct effective team meetings both onsite and virtual;
-Detail oriented with good time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines;
-Flexible with regard to changes in project requirements and shifting priorities;
-Ability to interface and present to all levels of the organization;
-Ability to effectively multiple projects at the same time;
-Ability to manage across formal organizational lines;
-Ability to assign responsibility to all levels of the project team and hold team accountable for deliverables.
