This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 1-2 days per month at the downtown Toronto office. The role supports U.S. operations and focuses on day-to-day credit processing, compliance, and portfolio monitoring activities.
Responsibilities
o Provide operational support for credit-related products and established credit facilities
o Monitor credit portfolios, risk elements, and margin requirements
o Review complex loan documentation to ensure compliance with authorized credit terms
o Investigate and escalate discrepancies, omissions, and risk issues as required
o Process transactions and maintain accurate system records
o Liaise with internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure accounts operate within approved terms
o Perform financial analysis and review supporting documentation
o Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
o Provide guidance and support to team members when required
Must-Have Requirements
o Minimum 3 years of experience in banking
o Experience working within corporate banking environments
o Back-office credit or operational support experience
o Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
o High attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation
Nice-to-Have
o Experience supporting Capital Markets
o Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, or Finance
