IFG - Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely review and payment of all invoices and credit memos, process weekly invoice payments, and manage vendor records and relationships.  This is a part time position requiring 20-25 hours per week. 

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Maintain and update vendor records while fostering strong vendor relationships.
  • Reconcile G/L accounts related to accounts payable, expense reporting, and sales tax.
  • Prepare and submit sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Process weekly invoice payments, ensuring proper coding to the correct G/L accounts.
  • Review and reconcile monthly expense reports, follow up with employees on discrepancies, and generate reports for management.
  • Calculate Pennsylvania use tax on FF&E purchases.
  • Ensure all invoices and credit memos are reviewed accurately and paid in a timely manner.
  • Support the accounting team with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
     
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist
  • 2+ years accounting experience
  • MS Office and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
