Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their team for an initial 3 months of contract which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid, 1 day a week in office in Toronto.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Facilitate the gathering of information related to data dictionary.
  • Collaborate with project teams (BAs/Technology) to determine missing information and address inquiries.
  • Conduct research through historical documents to address questions and provide insights.
  • Meet with Subject Matter Experts/Product Owners to gather information and address inquiries.
  • Document findings and enter them into the data dictionary.
  • Review entries with Data Owners to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:
Must Haves:
  • 7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst role leading projects and developing business requirement documents.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to elicit requirements from multiple stakeholders and write comprehensive documentation.
  • Previous experience analyzing and understanding data, as well as expertise in conducting gap analysis.
  • Proficiency with Excel pivot tables, Visio, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience in stakeholder management.
Nice to Have:
  • Prior commercial banking experience.
