Our client, a large bank, is looking to add a Change Manager in their Capital Markets and Market Risk line of business. This role will be responsible for overall program communication, change management strategy development and implementation.

This is a 12-month contract to start. Location – downtown, Toronto.

As the Change Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the Program team in planning, executing, controlling and closing phases of the program
  • Develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
  • Support quality assurance and auditing of the program
  • Communication management within and outside the project team
  • Performs various project administration tasks including coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, forwarding communication releases, and performing maintenance of project tracking logs
  • Ensure project issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed and tracked
  • Manage the project document repository using SharePoint
  • Track resources across different project roles, ensure appropriate security controls are in place
  • Manage all financial status meetings for the program
  • Assist the project manager in developing project artifacts, ongoing maintenance and update to all project management artifacts including readiness assessment and project closure documents
  • Process improvement and updates to project process documentation
  • Ongoing change management and facilitation of change requests when required
  • Advising program/project members on the use of the regulatory change methodologies, tools, templates and best practice

Candidates to meet consideration will possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience being a Change Manager (from inception to completion of a project)
  • Experience from other Top 5 Banks or large consulting firms is required
  • Strong Capital Markets experience, preferably with FRTB project experience or knowledge
  • Project management experience and understanding of project documentation/artifacts
  • MS Project & Clarity experience
  • Advance knowledge PMLC, SDLC and best practices overall (Agile, Waterfall etc.)
  • Familiarity with the Change Management methods, approaches, tools
  • Strong relationship management skills required for internal, client and vendor management
