The Operation’s FP&A Analyst is responsible for assisting with company planning, forecasting and strategic planning activities.   This role’s focus is on center operations including the quality organization, IT and capital planning. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as key financial contact for Operational finance organization supporting the manufacturing, regulatory, and lab operations for 4 compounding facilities.
  • Assist in the development of monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as annual plan; maintain automated process for updating forecast information.  Appropriately factor in business conditions and proper calendarization.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of a new Earned Labor Hour (ELH) model to ensure accurate product costing.
  • Work with both Operations and Lab Management to update activity based models to ensure proper facility staffing and report on key performance metrics of both groups.
  • Assist Engineering and Operations team with financial measurement and justification of automation and future cost saving initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and upload of quarterly cost rolls including analysis of inventory revaluation, PPV, and Labor and OH costs.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, and Pricing to track vendor cost changes and provide financial analysis to support sourcing and pricing decisions.
  • Provide support and analysis to the FP&A Manager and ensure all deadlines are met timely.
  • Other projects and analysis as assigned

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Inventory management experience with strong understanding of Bill of Materials and product costs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel applications. 
  • Detail oriented, analytical, team player, good written and oral communications and professional.
  • Some travel required for position.  1-2 trips per quarter.
